It's been a busy start to 2020. From CIRs in Oregon to the deliberative democracy work being done around the world, there's a lot to be excited about in the coming year!

December 2019

As another consequential year passes, we offer this look back at the many positive efforts Healthy Democracy has been involved with in our continued mission to help restore trust in democracy. From the first-ever Citizens Jury to the Citizens' Initiative Review in two countries in Europe to our second Community Oregon cohort, we have a lot to reflect on with hope and pride for what's ahead in 2020 and beyond.

We're back from California! We partnered with the Davenport Institute at Pepperdine University to lead a very successful demonstration of the CIR process – the first ever in that state.

We have a new website! Yep, this one! Plus, we reveal that we're heading to California soon for a three-day demonstration of the CIR process at Pepperdine University, and we embarrass our ops & tech guy Linn.

July 2016

We introduce the 2016 Citizens' Initiative Review season, as well as our staff and moderators for this year. We'll start Aug. 11-14 with the first-ever statewide review in Arizona, then continue with the fourth statewide review in Oregon Aug. 18-21, then end with the first statewide pilot review in Massachusetts Aug. 24-28.
