From the Albany Democrat-Herald:
The members of the Citizens’ Initiative Review panel that was examining Measure 97, the proposal for a corporate gross receipts tax, wrapped up their work on Sunday afternoon and left Monmouth, where they had gathered for four days of work.
They left behind a straightforward summary of the measure’s pros and cons. The summary, which is attached to the online version of this editorial, will be a terrific resource for voters looking for an unbiased and objective source of information about the measure. After all, this is the entire point of the Citizens’ Initiative Review process. (The summary also will be published in the Oregon Voters’ Pamphlet.)
