EDITORIAL: INITIATIVE REVIEW IS A USEFUL TOOL FOR VOTERS

There’s a valuable information shortcut for voters for two of the November election’s ballot measures. It’s the Citizens Initiative Review.

In your voter’s pamphlet, you’ll find credible information from the citizens review process on Ballot Measure 82, the amending of the constitution to allow casinos, and Ballot Measure 85, the one having to do with sending corporate kicker money into the general fund for K-12 schools.

As we’re sure you know, it can be challenging to find credible information about ballot measures. The Bulletin is one valuable resource. There are those “for” and “against” arguments in the voter’s pamphlet. There are also advertisements and campaign messages.
